This year we redirected our research and development away from CompoundDoc and toward two complex applications.

1. Housing Helpers needed a real-time matching application for their roommate service. Their customer can signup using an ecommerce wizard to gather roommate data, pay and create their matching document automatically. The application then automatically runs all the matching queries and emails matches to the new customer and also to the existing, matching customers. All this is done in real-time within milliseconds.
2. RMD Signs needed a complex ecommerce application to account for price breaks between quantities purchased. Their staff can create a 'formula' with the percentage price breaks. Then each product can be subscribed to one of these formulas. When it becomes necessary to change prices all that is necessary is to change the formulas and the whole product line will instantly adjust to the new prices. This is all tied into an ecommerce system that automatically calculates the correct price break no matter what quantity is ordered. We have yet to see such a complex system that is so easy to manage.
